History

Claude Barber – Founder.

Claude Barber purchased Plant Machine Works in 1977 and laid the ground work for the company that it is today. His vision was to provide our customers with the highest quality of work at a fair cost. In order to achieve this, Claude created a culture with core values centered on honesty and integrity. These values have formed the basis for how we operate today.

In 2006 Tommy Barber became the second generation owner of Plant Machine Works and has maintained the core values that his dad set for the company back in 1977. In order to grow with the industry demands and needs of our customers, Plant Machine Works has expanded by adding many CNC machines to the line-up.

Our management team consists of Bobby Williams, VP of Operations; Kirk Jones, VP of Project Bidding and Management Representative; Brian Richardson, Repair Shop Superintendent; and Charlie Thompson, Millwright Forman; have a combined industry experience of over 125 years. Within our CNC department, our programmers have over 40 years of combined experience.
