At Plant Machine Works, Inc., we offer several other services, other than pump repairs, gear box repairs, and general machining capabilities. Listed below are several other items we either have in the shop or services we can perform at your plant site.
Balancing and laser alignment:
In our shop, we use an Easy Balance 2.2 computerized 5000# capacity balancing machine with personnel having over 60 years experience. This enables us to assure high quality balancing and in house balancing on your equipment repair.
We recently replaced our field unit with an Entek Ludeca Vibxpert collector/Balancing unit. This unit allows us to perform data collection services at your plant site, which you can use as a predictive maintenance tool. We provide full reports on your equipment, which allows you to make effective decisions about when a piece of equipment needs to be shutdown and repaired instead of waiting for destruction. This unit is also used for field balancing rotating equipment at your plant site. Our services also include a laser alignment system with qualified technicians for on-site alignment services.
Field Capabilities:
We also offer complete field Machining services. Our capabilities include: - Journals up to 34” dia.
- Line boring 6”/18” dia. up to 10’ long
- Mill slabbing 24” wide x 9’ long
- Flange facing up to 84” diameter
- Keyway cutting 1/8” to 3-1/2” wide
Other Specialized Applications:
PMW, Inc., also offers on-site crew services. We can provide crews to install and align equipment, including electric motors, pumps, gear boxes, blowers, and fans. We can also provide man power for short shutdowns and turn-a-rounds.
Our shop also houses the following items for cleaning and painting your equipment: - Empire blasting cabinet: 100 cfm (10’x15’x20’)
- Paint Booth:12’x20’25’
- Self contained water maze cleaning system
We furnish pick-up and delivery services which include 10 trucks, trailers to 30 tons with 32’ capacity for your convenience.
